Cat embodies WELLNESS as a lifestyle.

With over 15+ years of experience in the wellness space, I believe that one’s health is dynamic and resilient. My approach is based on functional medicine principles that center on healing from a whole body perspective. Whether I'm creating a bodywork plan or a holistic coaching routine, I integrate solutions based on these pillars of wellness: mindfulness, movement, and nutrition.

"A wonderful Realization will be the day you realize that you are unique in all the world. The world is an incredible, unfulfilled tapestry, and only you can fulfill that tiny space that is yours." -Leo Buscaglia

I've worked in a variety of settings, including luxury spa environments, fitness studios, and chiropractic offices. In 2015, I co-founded BackSpace Mobile massage, a San Francisco based in-home massage service. That experience expanded my vision of helping clients manage their pain by teaching them the benefits of proper self-care.

I've always been curious about the body since being diagnosed with eczema since a little girl. I struggled in managing it my entire childhood and it wasn’t until my first food elimination diet, that I found that my extreme lactose intolerance triggered my eczema.

Fast forward to my years in becoming a mom, my son Devin was diagnosed with asthma at birth. I found through a holistic nutrition approach that Devin's dairy sensitivity exacerbated his asthmatic symptoms. Through elimination and using proper nutrition as medicine, Devin is a thriving 15 year old healthy boy today. Massage therapy was my first wellness love, but through Devin’s experience- education through Nutrition became my soul’s purpose.

In 2019, I received my Nutrition certification from Bauman College in Berkeley, CA. It was here that I discovered the goal of my life’s work.. To be a catalyst for change. Educating others about creating sustainable healthy habits leads to happier lives.

In 2020, I joined the remarkable team at Kids Cooking for Life and provides healthy cooking classes in underserved communities. Besides teaching, I operate a wellness practice in my hometown of Vallejo, CA. I help clients gain a better understanding of nutrition, movement, and mindfulness techniques through 1:1 coaching, reset planning, and healthy cooking classes.

I enjoys all kinds of movement activities like yoga, paddleboarding, and cold water plunging. My current love is creating new approaches to healthy recipes. I plan on having my next adventure center around healthy cooking and believing that “Healthy Food is GOOD FOOD”. Cat’s Kitchen will provide vegetable forward cuisine that supports local agriculture and sustainable food practices. Stay tuned:)
